Welcome back from Spring Break! While most Spring Break plans were cancelled or postponed, what hopefully was not postponed was getting to spend time with your families and creating new memories.
- We served over 1,000 lunches and breakfasts today for the next three days. Please know that this is open to any student. Help us out by completing the survey so that we can know how many meals to have at each of our locations. https://www.parentsquare.com/feeds/2792489 We will not turn anyone away, but completing the survey allows us to be more prepared for you. These are grab and go meals. Our next drop-off date will be on Thursday. Special thanks to Michelle Gephart and our food service team for making all of these meals starting at 6 a.m. today and for all of our employees who helped drive the meals to the distribution sites and distributed them for our students.
- Technology pick-up went well this morning. We have our final session this evening from 4-6 p.m. at the high school. You do not need to get out of the car. We will bring out the devices to you. If you have technology needs, please contact Brian Lemke at email@example.com
- Governor DeWine just announced that schools will be out at least through May 1st after which time he will re-evaluate. Obviously this will affect a number of other issues as well. We will communicate more details as we work on those solutions.
- We have a fantastic support staff here to help you. Obviously the teacher is your primary contact, but please contact your child’s guidance counselor for basic social-emotional issues and the administrative team/dean of students for other issues (accessing technology, etc.). This is a trying time for everyone, and it now appears as if we will be doing this for another month at least. We are here to help our students, so please contact us to see if there is anything we can do to make this time a little easier for you.
We will continue to evolve as we go through this process. Thank you for your flexibility, patience, and support.. It has been greatly appreciated.
Proud to be your Superintendent,
